Job Role : SERVICE MANAGER
Job Description
Implementing services plans / policies for the organization, ensuring the accomplishment of business goals.
Exploring potential business avenues for spare parts, developing new accounts, and meeting pre-set revenue, collection & profitability targets.
Assisting in preparation of techno-commercial proposals; involved in price negotiation & finalization of orders.
Providing training to Service Technicians / Engineers, ensuring maximum efficiency in service operations, and achieving individual & team targets.
Building and maintaining healthy business relations with major accounts, enhancing customer satisfaction matrices by achieving delivery & service quality norms.
Monitoring post-service activities like follow up with the customers, service reminders, warranty & post-warranty issues, and handling customer grievances for superior customer service.
Assessing customer feedback, evaluating areas of improvements & providing critical feedback on improvements.
Handling Process & Product development by ensuring that highest quality standards are adhered to.
Managing analytical development & Method Validation for the process.
Ensuring adherence to pre-determined quality parameters during the development cycle.
Negotiating with vendors for sourcing of alternate service components, ensuring optimum stock of spare parts at branch level.
Maintaining optimum stock level for the spares-parts inventory and setting norms for the same for timely availability.
Motivate and train service personnel to ensure that the Business Team sales and profit goals are achieved
Assist DGM in sales and budgetary forecasts on a territorial and export basis to balance the distribution of targets to assure effective achievement of set goal
Maintain confidentiality of prices, margin, profit and salaries
Penetrating service market by promoting AMC and ARC
Develop and maintain good customer rapport and positive company image within the assigned area of responsibility to achieve sales goals at a profitable level
Assist customers with any additional information that they will need after the purchase
Offer after-sales support services
Solve client problems regarding the product
Develop and maintain good Principal rapport, ensuring a positive relationship through periodic correspondence
Supporting team members for any ERP related issues
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering Graduate Electronics & Communication Engineering
Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
Actively involved ERP service module implementation
Minimum 10-15 years experience in the same field
Good communication skills (oral and written)
Well organized and able to prioritize
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

Strong Leadership skills
Ability to overcome objections with both technical and non technical customers
