The Commercial Director for its Middle Eastern subsidiary shall understand German business values and shall contribute with his / her hands-on mentality to the company's regional growth.

The position holder will lead and direct the company through its merger and is accountable for guiding the organization through its commercial landscape.

Your duties and responsibilities will include :

Manage the company's commercial activities, including complete P&L responsibility for the Middle East ern market

Lead analysis of sales force size and alignment with business strategy and market needs, making recommendations to maximize commercial impact

Navigate through the merger process and guide the SAP software implementation process

Manage the demand planning function and forecast accuracy

Responsible for preparing the monthly reports and the annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB

Ensure business activities and processes comply with applicable laws, IFRS and German HGB

Conduct periodic business reviews to identify and address business issues and opportunities to ensure progress toward business objectives

Perform financial analysis that yields actionable insights that increase market share, sales, and margin

Lead commercial problem solving to overcome business challenges

Create and implement annual operating plan and forecasts to accurately reflect current expectations of the business

Develop and foster strong relationships with operational Sales leaders in order to accurately influence business processes

Prepare and review monthly results and ad hoc analysis to determine methods of increasing operating productivity through revenue generation, margin expansion and cost control

Built up a strong financial support team and conduct technical and disciplinary management of all employees in your area of responsibility

In charge of b udgeting and periodic forecast whilst being the key contact for auditors, banks and tax consultants

Report to the Managing Director

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences :

University degree in finance, CMA / CPA certification advantageous

At least 10 years of working experience in a finance leadership position in the Middle East

Outstanding analytical skills combined with a proven ability to identify / define business questions and issues, synthesize information from multiple sources, conduct analysis, formulate actionable recommendations, and confidently recommend a point-of-view to senior management

Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail

Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and statistics concepts (i.e., ROI, P&L)

Experienced in managing with ambiguity; demonstrated ability to take ownership of problems, exercise sound judgment and independently determine appropriate course of action

An approachable and credible communication style, with exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; German language skills are preferred

Intellectual agility - able to pivot based on shifting priorities and balance multiple projects seamlessly in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities

Deeply honed practicality and effectiveness combined with strong presence and gravitas

Team player personality with strong cultural understanding

Willingness to frequently travel within the UAE
