The Assistant Marketing Manager is part of an important team that creates and executes property-level communications to our customers.
Under the leadership of the Cluster Director of Marketing, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel.
This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels to the end of driving consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness.
This role focuses on highlighting Food and Beverage promotions, Spa and Leisure facility opportunities, both to hotel guests and to local patrons.
As part of the Marketing team, this role is fully connected into resources in their region; Assistant Marketing Manager liaise and build deep partnerships with their regional eCommerce and Marketing teams to verify local, social, and digital marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the selling efforts for the organization.
This role also gets to do a little bit of everything, from balancing traditional and digital marketing and eCommerce activities to contributing to public relations (PR) activities for the hotel.
Success is measured by how well they help drive the sales and revenue strategy of the property, social media engagement and by how effectively leveraged the resources around them are to create truly compelling marketing and communications campaigns.
The ideal candidate shoulda ssist and support on PR strategy, press releases, listings, site inspections, photo / video shootings and handle Hotel Website and other independent sites.
You are also expected to m onitorcommunity feedback in real-time, drives daily engagement with public interaction for the hotel’s official social presences (FB, Twitter, etc).
Create and maintain long-lead editorial content calendars (supporting the Brand’s Social Playbook guidelines), for the hotel and applicable restaurants.
Develops unique hotel and destination content (posts, photos, videos, infographics, etc); sources and leverages quality User Generated Content in social amplification efforts and ensure usage rights for all materials.
Creates videography teasers, reels, animations and assist in hotel videography needs for sales, HR and other departments as required with the help and support of graphic designer and team and alsov erifies Brand positioning and voice is fully adhered and activated at the property level.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be proficient in writing, speaking and negotiating in English. One additional language preferred.
Must have at least 2years’ experience in similar role
Experience within an agency, luxury hospitality or luxury industry would be an advantage
