NOTE PRIOR FINANCE RELATED TO HOTEL INDUSTRY IS A MUST FOR THIS JOB Our client is setting up new 5 Hotel operations in the heart of Dubai city They are seeking to fill in this vital and key position within this Hotel Operations ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following Other duties may be assigned from time to time Prepare and manages the companys cash flow monthly or as otherwise requested in an efficient and effective manner to ensure that the financial resources are utilized in the best possible manner Prepares all financial statements of the hotel for audit and publication Indirectly weighs up and analyzes the feasibility of all procedures and controls in relation to all financial issues Manages the Accounts Department in a professional and efficient manner Directs all related departments in terms of staffing training and performance evaluations to ensure accuracy Develops team building spirit Sets the credit policy in conjunction with the General Manager Represents the company on all related financial related matters Participation in Manager-

on-Duty program The development of the Hotels information technology systems with a view to utilizing the potential of such systems to the optimum In addition ensures a backup of all software is taken on a regular basis The backup is to be verified and tested and is properly stored in an offsite location where it is protected from hazards Analyze and control expenditures for each department and ensure specific controls and policies are adhered to at all times Analyze financial statistics to assist management in forward planning and policy formulation Promote good community relations Screens and approves all expenditures prior to submission for the General Manager To compile manage and control of all operational and capital budgets Maintenance of accounting standards in accordance with established policy and procedures Organizes Credit Meetings on a fortnightly basis with the General Manager and Sales team Ensures that inter-

company reconciliations have been completed and audited accordingly Holds Profit and Loss Operations Review Meetings on a monthly basis Ensures all bank reconciliations are complete and current for all bank accounts Oversight of all contracts with the company with regard to the financial terms and conditions These contracts agreements are to be properly reviewed and approved by the Companys legal advisor and by the General Manager Ensure accurate reporting of all revenue centers and costs Instigates implements and maintaining appropriate financial controls in all departments The monitoring and control of the hotels cashiering and internal control procedures to secure and or safeguard the companys assets Minimize outstanding receivables Supervise Food Beverage Control Accounts Payable General Cashier and Payroll Prepare journal entries and schedule for the income statement Conducts month end financial presentations As a senior manager you will carry out executive responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and as assigned to by the General Manager Reconcile all bank asset and liability accounts Prepare monthly quarterly and annual tax returns and other government payables if applicable Ensures all statutory dues are paid promptly to the following Departments VAT Social Security contributions Provisional Tax or any other
