Partner with the CEO and rest of the leadership team to develop and execute the firm's strategy
Develop annual strategic and financial plans in collaboration with the leadership team, ensuring the company is resourced to achieve long-term OKRS and product roadmap timelines
Serve as a key liaison with the Board of Directors and shareholders
Lead capital raising initiatives along with the CEO
Establish and execute the strategic direction for the finance function at Bayzat
Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
Ensure all corporate reporting needs are met, to the required timeframe, including the annual external audit and regulatory reporting requirements
Ensure the selection, development, motivation and retention of a qualified team to effectively carry out all functions and provide continuity of managerial and specialized skills
15+ years experience in finance-related roles such as Corporate Finance, Audit, Accounting or Treasury
Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a VP of Finance or CFO at a late stage, high growth company
Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading / managing others
Strong background in developing annual strategic and financial plans
Comfort working independently across cross-functional internal teams and external relationships, and the ability to project manage large scale projects
Ability to get things done and being comfortable with ambiguity
Able to distil complex information from multiple sources in order to derive concise, impactful data insights
Passionate about SaaS and B2B software
Experience with fundraising (Series C or later)
Managed M&A transactions
Bonus Points :
An understanding of the trajectory of start-ups would be more culturally aligned than large corporate experience
Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies, such as central banks
