The main duties and responsibilitiesof this role includes :
Act as the singlepoint of contact within Jumeirah for each assigned Dubai key account.
Produce and implementan account development plan for each managed account to achieve maximum revenuein both short and long term.
Execute the annualcommercial plan of the Dubai Cluster within the area of responsibility.
Monitor and feedbackcompetitors activities and respond to them appropriately.
Maintain high profilenetwork across the geographical area given, actively prospects and hunt newbusiness opportunities.
Continuously sourcenew business through research of local media and market intelligence.
Attend overseas tradeshows, key client events, FAM trips and sales trip as planned and submitted atthe beginning of each year and updated calendar at each quarter.
Be fully up to datewith budgeted / actual / forecast targets of the SBUs as well as own segment andindividual target.
Responsible tocontinuously secure below and above the line marketing opportunities toposition the brand and drive sales with trade partners
Develop and maintain aclose working relationship with GSO's and SBU's.
Assist and introduceJumeirah Hotels Sales & Marketing teams to area of coverage / responsibilityand identified customer group when requested.
Identify andcommunicate ideas and customer expectations from assigned segments andterritory.
Maintain an accurateprofiles and history of all accounts in Jumeirah Connect Salesforce.
Contribute to themonth end report and submit to line manager by the end of 1st week of themonth.
Submit all newopportunities for the SBU's via Jumeirah Connect / Salesforce
Compile via JBI onquarterly basis the results of own assigned incentive targets and submit backto line manager.
Proper quality ofinput in Jumeirah Connect / Salesforce and make sure to enter new contacts andaccounts into the system as per the Jumeirah Data Entry Standards.
Meeta monthly JC target of 50 activities to include the following sub types "i.e.Sales Calls, Entertainment, Telemarketing, Site Inspections."
About You :
The ideal candidate for thisposition will have the following experience and qualifications :
Business orHospitality related degree from an internationally recognized institution
A minimum of 1 years'experience in a sales role either internationally or local at Sales Managerlevel, or 2 years'
experience as a Sales Executive.
Solid overall salesbackground in the five star luxury hotel industry including a goodunderstanding of all key segments
Experienced indeveloping, managers and executing sales strategies
Excellentcommunication skills in written and spoken English
Understanding &experience of basic revenue management practices
Good computer knowledge including Delphi and WordSuite.
