The Job Opportunity
The purpose of the job is , set up, manage and maintain the rostering for a large Transport contract, using the Time2Work workforce management tool.
The role will involve improving efficiencies through the optimal use of resources across the business. Provide forecasting, planning and scheduling through the Time2Work tool.
Drive the business resource planning strategy in accordance with budget restrictions and limitations. Due to the large number of people, flexibility and ability to manage multiple complex requirements are key factors in making this role a success.
Set up and maintain a central resource plan and resource management process;
Prepare daily / alternate roster arrangements, alternate service patterns and emergency and degraded operations as per operational and maintenance requirement;
Deal with staff roster issues and make necessary adjustments to provide efficient and effective duty arrangements;
Monitor and review the effectiveness of the roster arrangements, make necessary adjustments and escalate to CX Supervisors and / or CX Managers for any issues that requires further management review;
Update and maintain data in relevant sections to ensure staff resourcing, availability, and overtime are accurately recorded
Ensure integration of the Mandatory Trainings per sections for all shift worker in the resource scheduling;
Centralise and control all leave and overtime management for rostered staff highlighting trends or areas of concern;
Provide expertise and act as a mentor and coach to the SME Time2Work planners for all resourcing activities in support of their development;
Proactively provide regular communications and updates to the workforce to encourage 360 degree feedback and deliver empowerment to all levels of the workforce;
Lead and implement Roster Committees and staff awareness sessions.
The job holder will be educated to a level of High School Diploma, General Education Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
The job holder will have 5 years minimum experience in a Roster Planner role for large (1,000+) workforce
The role holder with have experience in Time2Work workforce management tool or similar
Knowledge of airport operations and security are desirable
Industry experience in Retail, F&B, hotel, hospitality is desirable
