Job Purpose

Overall Management of the Key Merchant Accounts across UAE with regards to revenue generation / service / terminal installation / chargeback and fraud awareness.

To plan, manage and grow assigned portfolio of Cluster / Key Merchants RelationshipsRelationship Management for assigned Key Merchant Accounts which contribute Card volume of over AED 5 million per annumTo ensure revenue deliverables as per the targets assignedCross sell bank’s various products and source new marketing offersLiaise with cards marketing department for marketing tie ups with key merchant establishments Key Result Areas Achieve volume target from assigned portfolio within MBO cycleDevelop and maintain strong working relations with all existing clients across UAE at key levels to optimize the utilization of facilities.

Defend existing merchant relationship from predatory competitors through superior service, relationship building, and regular interactionMaximize Mashreq share at dual-

merchantsDrive profitable growth of existing merchant relationshipsDrive DCC volumesDrive Payport volumesSource credit cards in the relationships being managedSource offers for flavoursSource EPP offersDrive retail and hospitality integrationsDrive additional revenue through Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) and achieve set MSV and revenue targetsGather market information and develop working relationships with different businesses to position the company as one of the best financial institutions in UAEWork closely and proactively with cards issuing and identify opportunities to enhance value for the Mashreq cardholders in a unique mannerTrack and Identify new business opportunities and share the same with business development teamActively manage cross sell of SME / CIBG account packages to merchant relationshipsEnsure quality service / training of merchant staff on acceptance and fraud managementDistribute the preset targets to the relationship & service executivesImplement an annual review process to achieve quality of relationship & serviceEnsure training and product knowledge enhancement of the team members to ensure service level, growth, and development

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Strong marketing and selling skills is required

Complete knowledge and clear understanding of Bank’s policy

Awareness of various financial products / services

Excellent communication and analytical skills with ability to manage, lead, motivate, and monitor people

Leadership and management capabilities

Bachelor degree with minimum sales / marketing experience of 10+ years. MBA is preferred
