Purpose & Scope
Co-ordination and managing of Company™s Scaffolding requirement at sites with
Company™s scaffolding erection / dismantle Contractor.
Inspection of newly erected scaffold and certification for use.
Maintenance of a Scaffolding Register.
Inspection and recording weekly, of all erected scaffold as per Scaff Tag System.
Inspections of scaffold material maintained for reuse and witness destruction of material found unfit for further use.
Scrutiny of erection contractors work / time sheet.
Training users in the correct of scaffolds including basic fault findings.
Ensuring adherence to Company™s Offshore Safety Regulations particularly inrespect to scaffold structures.
Have flexible attitude towards assigned working areas and be prepared to do all aspects of work as required and assist in other areas to meet operational or exceptional circumstances as directed by Company™s Representative.
Coordinating with Scaffold Supervisor to organize and plan the priority of jobs as per work orders, manpower, budgeting time, and inspection of erected scaffold, scaffold material and PPE.
Coordinating with Das Island and Contactor™s management.
Communicate work orders received from different section to erection contractors, on completion of job the work orders are completed as per Company™s instructions.
Communicating relevant information like from safety and administration to contractors and from contractors to administration.
Organize the different safety and firefighting course for scaffolding team as per availability.
Qualification & Experience Required
Completion of secondary / equivalent education plus training to CITB Standards in scaffolding discipline and holding CITB / Equivalent Certificate.
Five Years scaffolding experience including two years supervisory level in thePetrochemical industry.
Experience in erection of all types of scaffold i.e.
access, load bearing etc.
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Ability to prepare concise report and maintain essential records.
And Good hand in computer applications.
Knowledge of CMMS systems (eg.
Must possess a valid U.A.E.
driving license for light duty vehicles (for Island only).
