Job Description

We are seeking expressions of interest for Senior Project Managers for a Programme expected to be awarded. This will be working for a Master Developer tasked with building vibrant communities and mix-use development projects within the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Working in a Programme Management Consultancy capacity and as a technical advisor to the client, you will assist in defining the Project Execution Plan, Procurement Strategies and Project Delivery Strategies and will help produce, review and implement employer requirements.

You will be responsible for managing the initial engagement of consultants and contractors, from challenging the design to ensuring that the Client receives the best product for the best value through to managing the coordination of works.

You will also be responsible for :

  • Leading technical solutions on projects.
  • Validating the design and construction schedules.
  • Contributing to Value Management and Value Engineering Processes.
  • Ensuring that effective strategies for statutory approvals are being implemented.
  • Ensuring the right resources are utilised effectively at the right time across project teams.
  • Supporting the leadership of recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Conducting meaningful performance management reviews and personal development plans that support the development of individuals and the business.
  • Ensuring that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company values.
  • As a successful candidate you will be Degree qualified with a minimum of 20 years' experience, of which 12 will have been within the UAE, obtained on large-scale projects covering both infrastructure and mix use developments.
  • The role requires prior PMC experience on large scale villa design and construction experience, preferably large projects of 1,000 villas +
  • You will be able to demonstrate a high degree of expertise in process management as well as the ability to interface with the programme scheduling, cost, scope development and reporting leads, with real delivery '
  • can do' attributes.

  • Preference will be given to those who are professionally registered (CIOB, PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS).
