We are currently recruiting for a Welding Applications Sales Specialist to be based in Dubai. You will be responsible for generating sales in the metal fabrication sector.
As a Welding Applications Sales Specialist you will :
Generate new sales of cylinder gases by carrying out demonstrations of our welding products
Help to maintain our existing welding customers by carrying out appropriate technical stewardship of key accounts.
Maximise account profitability by promoting our added value products to both customers and prospects
Maintain Air Products' image as a quality supplier of gases by providing sound technical and safety advice to customers and prospects on all welding and cutting related activities.
Contribute to the development and introduction of new products for the fabrication market
Assist with product demonstrations at promotional events, open days and exhibitions.
Carry out welding training for sales engineers.
Provide technical advice and support on welding and cutting related activities
Build and maintain relationships with key equipment manufacturers
As a Welding Applications Sales Specialist you will have :
High proficiency in craft skills. Approved apprenticeship and experience in the metal fabrication industry (welding & cutting)
Demonstrated ability on different types of materials and for different processes (MIG / MAG, TIG, Oxy / Fuel).
Demonstrable prior sales experience of selling added value products.
Up to date knowledge of technology in welding / fabrication sector
Evidence of strong new / new business achievement versus targets involving direct contact with prospects and excellent pipeline management.
PC skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
