Job Role : Senior Trainer

Role Purpose :

To support the Training Department in the co-ordinationand delivery of Training & Development offered withinHuawei UAE Device Dept.

To support the RetailSales team to increase promoter product knowledge and in-storeexcellence in aims of increasing Sell Out target in S / A / B shopswithin UAE

Key Duties &Responsibilities :

General :

  • Managing own time to meet the high standards of trainingquality required
  • Trainers should join toregular meetings to discuss and share work experience. Duringregular meetings, trainers are obliged to share best practices andspread them in the entire team
  • Work closelywith Regional Manager on :
  • Understanding areagoals that set by regional head
  • Align thetraining plan / goals with regional business goals
  • Feedback to Training Manager area trainingneeds
  • Training :

  • Assist Training Manager to roll out alldifferent training programs developed for the Field ForceTeam
  • Training programs :
  • New employee Orientation training
  • New product launch training
  • Fieldforce capability improvement training
  • Training category :

  • Skills training : selling skills training andpractice
  • Awareness training : Company cultureand introduction
  • Knowledge training : Product knowledge and industryknowledge training

    Training NeedsAnalysis :

  • Conducttraining needs analysis in the assigned area by field observation,feedback collection and 1-1 conversation, etc.
  • Identify training needs for each department
  • Training Content Development andLocalization :

  • Identify appropriate training solutions- internal andexternal, for identified training needs
  • Develop training materials according to the identifiedtraining solutions
  • Make area training actionplan based on TNA(training needs analysis) result
  • Customize training content based on area businessenvironment and personnel
  • Deliver trainingcourses utilizing appropriate techniques
  • Market Research :

  • Required to collect market information byvisiting market regularly as required. During the market visit,trainers are to collect and feedback retail information likeselling skills, selling points, sales cases, promoters’work, etc.
  • and give solutions to problems and suggestions forimprovement

  • Collect the best Selling Language from both IR and OR fieldsand market feedback to Training Manager for Sales Aidsproduction
  • TrainingEvaluation :

  • Conductindividual performance analysis by comparing individual salesperformance and training focuses on a monthly basis
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training and modifymaterials as appropriate
  • Maintain andsupervise assigned junior field trainers, area promoters andsupervisors on Retail Academy log-in and learningoutcome
  • Report :

  • Submit weekly and monthly training reports and feedbackto Training Manager as required
  • Others :

  • Controlling the training budget and prevent costoverruns
  • Other duties as may beassigned
  • Develop proposals and implementidentified projects by agreed deadlines and to agreedrequirements
  • Utilize the computerized TrainingSystem
  • Other requirements :

  • Must be flexible in working hours
  • Must be able to travel to different locations andemirates to complete training programs based on the operationsrequirements (as required)
  • Technicalskills :

  • Strongunderstanding of training concepts, modules and bestpractices
  • Excellent command over Englishlanguage, Arabic, Indian and sub-continent languages as an addedadvantage
  • Good knowledge of new L&Dtechnologies / trends in implementing training modules
  • Good writing and editing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Personal traits and backgroundrequirements :

    Skillsets :

  • Proven workexperience as a trainer, training facilitator or coordinatingmultiple training events in a corporate environment
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handlemultiple assignments
  • Strong communicationskills
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
  • Advanced interpersonaland relationship management skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, self-motivated, teamplayer
  • Professional and enthusiasticattitude
  • Experience :

  • Experienced onmanaging team performance via goal setting and various evaluationmethods
  • Good knowledge of account managementin UAE
  • Preferred an electronic (mobilespecific) experience
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Retail, Marketing,HR, L&D or other relevant academic fields
  • Arabic, Indian and sub-continent languagespreferred
