Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will : Provide support to the WPB EMEA Chief of Staff Office to supporting the running and operations of the WPB Governance across the EMEA region.

The role holder will help to support a range of Business Administration and Governance activities across EMEA operations, contributing to the smooth running of the region and business.

Recognising the complexity of governance in two distinct businesses, MENAT and Europe, this role will support a range of priorities across the entities, framing and guiding on key strategic decisions and handling the day to day tactical issues, including : Co-ordination and support of WPB governance activities across the EMEA region Preparation for, minute taking and follow up from a number of executive and management committees Constructively challenge processes in relation to Governance and quality of documents and briefing, escalating as required Support in the creation of Senior Manager and Executive briefings for internal and external meetings Developing and designing presentations for internal and external audiences Project Management of ad-hoc assignments Review data and provide insightful executive summaries with relevant background information Preparation for key visits, events and communications e.

g. weekly directs team meeting, annual conferences, off sites, board meetings, announcements, etc. Tasks are often highly sensitive, complex and confidential in nature.

The role holder will be required to operate with clarity of thought and produce work of high quality. The job holder will work closely with the Manager, Governance and Planning Lead WPB, EMEA.

Requirements To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements : Knowledge / Experience Bachelor’s Degree This role requires strategic thinking, Senior management engagement and strong stakeholder management A strong, positive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure with time sensitive deadlines Excellent ability to build relationships and influence leadership.

A team player who can also work independently Conscientious, with a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality Outstanding planning and organisation skills dealing with multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure Ability to deal with volume information to summarise and prioritise issues accordingly A clear understanding of the WPB EMEA business, breadth of experience within either / or comparable is preferable.
