We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified andexperienced leader of SEND / Inclusion strategy, ideally someone whohas worked across multiple schools and / or as a localauthority / district lead.
As Corporate Head of Inclusion you willplay an instrumental role in the development and implementation ofour strategy for Inclusion across our schools.
Using the DubaiInclusive Education Framework as a standard our schools will befully inclusive and compliant in all areas.
The accountabilities for the role include :
Providing leadership and direction onInclusion and SEND strategy for all schools, working in conjunctionwith the education cluster leads.
Responsibility for relevant SEND strategy and relateddevelopment and action plans for schools in line with the InclusionFramework, including a monitoring plan.
Providing strategic direction, develop and disseminateall policies and protocols ensuring that GEMS is at the forefrontof best practice and leads on Inclusion.
Supporting the improvement of student outcomes and narrowthe student attainment gap for all (identified) students, acrossall phases, ensuring students fulfil their highestpotential.
Co-constructing a systematic andconsistent approach to the collation and analysis of Inclusion dataand a rigorous monitoring of attainment and progress ensuringappropriate intervention and action where necessary.
Building the capability and infrastructure of the schoolsto meet current and future challenges around inclusion andSEND.
Leading CPD, briefings, projects andactivities for Principals, SENCo network and individual schoolswhere appropriate.
As Corporate Head of Inclusion you will :
Be a highly successful and provenInclusion / SEND leader in a Multi Academy Trust, Local Authority oracross multiple schools, with a track record of educationalexcellence and tangible outcomes.
Be educatedto degree level with additional qualifications in the field ofSEND / Inclusion.
Have excellent interpersonalskills that will enable you to motivate and inspire your colleaguesand develop productive relationships at all levels.
Be a passionate educator and have a recent workingknowledge of SEND and Inclusion practice at the highest level,keeping up to date professionally and educationally.
Have the ability to maintain emotional equilibrium inlight of professional pressures and deadlines.
Some International experience orexposure would be helpful but is not essential. An openness toquickly understand and embrace the culture and opportunities thatworking in a diverse international company brings, isessential.
