The Role
We are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented individual who will be working closely with the C-team in order to facilitate the smooth functioning of the company, particularly with regards to communications.
You will be the person to turn to in order to get things done , overseeing a
multitude of areas not confined to communications solely. For instance, you will ensure that projects are being handled as delegated, while also working with HR in order to assist in recruiting new talent for our rapidly growing firm, all while contributing towards cultivating a healthy company culture.
The role is ideal for an individual who is excited by the prospect of taking on a
plethora of responsibilities, working directly with the senior management to assist with strategy and analysis. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include :
Handle email, LinkedIn, Twitter, and C-team’s social media, as well as speeches, and
speaking notes for events.
Drive documentation and implementation of internal communication processes.
Support CEO for Board of Director meeting preparation.
Supporting function leaders to track key business metrics and synthesize insights to CEO and team.
Ensure alignment on key culture building initiatives in a remote organization.
Be a sparring partner on CEO's strategic priorities.
Own key HR processes (such as hiring).
Attend and manage senior leadership meetings.
Identify and act on any areas that could make the CEO or CPO more effective and efficient.
About You
Master’s degree in Business or similar.
2 - 5 years experience in a similar role.
You were previously a speechwriter, communications director, or in investor relations.
You are comfortable working in spreadsheets, bringing numbers to abstract business
problems and opportunities.
Highly motivated and self-driven, with confidence and ability to think on your feet in
a constantly changing environment.
You've worked directly with executives, and understand how to be compassionate while
also being direct.
Exceptional communicator (written, verbal, visual).
A proven ability to execute - and not just plan.
You have a keen ability to build relationships
Adept at social media like Linkedin, Twitter, Quora, reporting and spreadsheets.
Ability to effectively analyze the effectiveness of outreach and communication, and develop new strategies as needed.
