Responsible for achieving revenue and booking goals, developing new markets, and increasing sales through new and repeat business, contract negotiation, and follow through of all business.
Duties and responsibilities
Implement catering marketing plans to achieve revenue goals.
Develop promotional events to market catering operations to individuals and organizations.
Develop positive working relationship with existing customers for continuous business, by tracking them and checking the types of services required.
Analyzes trends and potential for repeat business by preparing reports and setting forth conclusions and recommendations.
Explore new business opportunities with potential customers.
Maintain a database of prospective and current customers.
Perform catering price negotiation with clients and customers based on the established company guidelines.
Ensure quality services and operations by building trust and positive relationships with clients, customers, and co-workers.
Maintain accurate, complete sales operational and transaction records.
Answer customer queries in accurately, and timely manner.
Prioritize sales tasks based on revenue goals and deadlines.
Develop strong customer relationships to widen customer base and marketing opportunities.
Maintains a friendly, caring, and helpful attitude with external and internal guests as well as demonstrate flexibility in dealing with complex arrangements
Interact with customers to get feedback on products and services offered.
Coordinates and participates in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
Evaluates the financial aspect of product development such as budget, expenditures research and development appropriations and return on investment and profit-loss projections.
Understands the departmental plan and budgets for the locations and works to maximize profit while ensuring an uncompromising experience to the guests.
The ability to maintain a positive attitude and a professional disposition especially with internal and external customers some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy
Education : Bachelor’s degree of equivalent.
Experience Required : Minimum 5 years of experience required in managerial post.
Licenses or Certificates : Ability to obtain and / or maintain any government required licenses, certificates, or permits.
