In this role, you will be required to determine portfolio objectives and strategies, and to build the brand with customers.
You will be responsible for determining the business strategy for market research to identify opportunities, and to develop insights and implications for the business.
You will develop long- term strategies for a complex portfolio based on researched insights and will leverage the expertise of marketing communications to ensure a cohesive communications approach.
You will be targeted on setting and communicating clear vision and goals for a well-balanced, market-leading portfolio. You will identify, evaluate, and execute new business development opportunities and thoroughly understand the customer purchasing drivers and key pain points.
In addition, you will align category strategies with the business planning and budgeting cycle as is accountable for the long-term financial success and sustainable competitive advantage of the portfolio

What You Will Do :
Work with the IMEA division lead Heavy & Mining to develop mid and long-term strategy for the business.
Direct and monitor marketing and supporting staff in the management of innovation, solutions, product lines, industry marketing and technical expertise teams.
Partner closely with global marketing to develop innovation and products based on a thorough understanding of customer needs as part of Phase Gate process.
Lead innovation launches in the region. Ensure strong regional and market execution to deliver on regional sales and profit targets
Work closely with the IMEA marketing platforms to ensure all marketing objectives are supported and met in a timely manner on PLM, Digital, Marcom and other specialist activities and initiatives.
Develop and direct marketing initiatives including sales and marketing plans, sales campaigns, advertising programs and technical literature.
Monitor and assure that the overall strategic objectives are met.
Establish and implements overall marketing goals.
Approve individual group goals submitted by staff.
Develop or reviews forecasts for management approval.
Monitor business results.
Initiate and updates strategic plan in conjunction with management.
Direct or oversees the development and introduction of new products, programs and business practices with Research, Supply Chain, and other support groups.
Direct and monitor the development of new product pricing, technical literature, advertising campaigns, definitions, specification, and performance standards, and business guidelines.
Develop, review, and coordinate promotion, technical presentations, and advertising through Corporate Communications Department.
Direct or oversee new market development for current or prospective programs or for the repositioning of existing products.
Coordinate with Industry Managers and global specialists to ensure market research and analyses to track future marketplace trends, customer needs, competitor data, and product performance and market attractiveness.
Monitor results and formulates short- and long-term marketing strategies.
Present strategies to senior leadership for approval.
Ensure customer and Ecolab sales and service personnel receive continuous technical and business support in the form of up to date product application technology, training, and problem solving, as well as current business, contracts, and pricing training.
Develop contacts with major customers and suppliers.
Conduct executive marketing / sales calls to maintain customer contact, promote sales efforts, evaluate market trends, and develop business at target accounts.
Select, train, develop, and motivate an effective staff. Provide direction and training in division or corporate-wide marketing training programs.
Conduct performance appraisals and initiates salary adjustments.
Complete business unit, division, and corporate marketing training programs.
Minimum Qualifications :
B.S. degree in technical field, MBA is preferred.
At least 3-5 years marketing leader experience in a multinational company with overall marketing, or related field experience of 10+ years
Other senior functional or operational experience will be preferred.
Business-to-business marketing experience, particularly with highly technical products and service in an industrial setting.
Broad set of strategic and tactical sales and marketing capabilities; particularly insights into multiple IMEA markets with Capability to develop business strategies to grow the business.
Demonstrated management abilities, including ability to manage people.
Natural ability to collaborate within and across countries. Preference for working with cross-functional teams to deliver results on tight timelines
Ability to navigate complex matrix organization to include and influence key stakeholders in various functions and regions
Good organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent English communication.

Strong business acumen, strategic planning capabilities, and well-developed leadership qualities.
The ability to effectively direct the activities of others
A proactive approach in driving marketing programs across multiple B2B channels
High initiative, strong problem solving and relationship building skills.
Should have the ability to understand, persuade and lead people of diverse backgrounds and affiliations.
Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment; understanding of industry segments served is strongly preferred.
Experience serving global business partners is a plus.
