To continue building KONE Safety & Quality culture and proactively promote safety & quality practices, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Safety & Quality Manager to manage countrywide projects, processes and operations based in our Dubai office.
Reporting into the Managing Director for UAE & Oman, the successful candidate will proactively work to ensure continuous improvement of safety & quality performance and culture within the organization.
We are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and who can collaborate with different functions to ensure the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and guidelines affecting safety & quality.
Provide expertise and support regarding safety & quality matters.
Set, implement and maintain safety & quality strategy in line with KONE global policies and local regulations.
Set safety targets, goals and plan / roadmap together with unit leadership as well as regional / global safety teams.
Drive safety and quality culture across different levels in the organization.
Plan, document, follow up and monitor the implementation of safety & quality processes and procedures.
Analyze feedback from Customer and Field and proactively gather other relevant data to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Maintain accident & near miss incident investigation process, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action.
Facilitate and evaluate the implementation, and contribute to the development of KONE Quality Management System, monitor its performance and combine its management with other management systems, such as environment and safety.
Communicate safety & quality related information throughout the organization, including investigation outcomes and best practices.
Represent KONE to external stakeholders in safety matters.
Bachelor degree in engineering or strong technical background.
10+ years of experience in safety & quality managing countrywide operations within the same or relevant industries, such as construction, contracting.
Strong track record of setting corporate safety strategy and launching safety / quality programs and trainings across the organization.
Experience with site / field operations is a must.
Strong knowledge of quality tools, methods and systems.
Excellent English language skills.
Ability to influence, lead and coach teams and overlook multiple major and medium sized projects simultaneously.
