We are looking for a dynamic comms professional to join our growing Global Communications Team.Responsibilities : - Drive strategic development and implementation of communications strategies across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Turkey, and the African region;
Manage a team of communications professionals to develop a range of proactive communications plans and initiatives to support the brand development and reputation management of TikTok, with a focus on proactive corporate branding for TikTok;
Develop compelling narratives in individual markets to engage trade, policy and industry stakeholders to support the growth of the business;
Strategize and oversee communications programs from messaging development, media outreach plan to proactive pitching;- Lead communications strategy on issues management, responses and handling as they arise;
Work closely with cross-functional teams including policy, sales, operations and marketing on communications-related campaigns and initiatives;
Manage external PR agencies in all markets to support the above efforts.Qualifications- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Fluent in Arabic;- Bachelor's degree or higher;- 10+ years relevant working experience, experience in both corporate and consumer communications is preferred.
Previous experience in global companies a plus;- An excellent communicator who can successfully build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally;
A team player who can lead projects and strong project management skills;- Experience working in social media, Internet, Technology companies;
Experience working in cross-border, multi-cultural environment is preferred.
