Calibrates medicalequipment. Follows manufacturer calibration procedures. Employsrequired test and measurement equipment to ensure equipment isfunctioning within required parameters.
Records test results onWork Order.
Repairsmedical equipment. Analyzes and troubleshoots equipmentmalfunctions utilizing electronic schematics, diagnostic testingequipment, and manufacturer’s technical literature.
Identifies faulty circuits, systems, and parts.
Orders, receives, and replacesfaulty components in order to return medical equipment to fulloperating potential.
Prepares and completes all required documentationincluding Work Orders, historic documentation, and requiredcorrespondence.
Enters required informational data into the DMLSSsystem and files corresponding documentation in historicalfolder.
