Job Role : Director Of Revenue

Key Job Responsibilities

  • To be able to recommend revenue maximization strategies and accurate forecasting mechanism to be developed and applied.
  • Creates a monthly forecast for all segments including room nights, ATR and revenue on a weekly basis for the following weeks based on history special events, business on the books, pick - up trend, average length of stay and lead time.
  • Creates a monthly forecast for all segments including room nights, and revenue on a monthly basis for the next 12 months based on a pattern.
  • Actively involves in yearly budget process for room nights, ATR, and revenue.
  • Actively involves in the creation of daily and monthly forecasts for banquet space utilization, food and beverage outlet, as well as other revenue generating department's monthly performance.
  • Ensures that unconstrained demand forecast are determined.
  • Monitors rate availability and available inventory for sale in relation to expected demand versus supply of hotel and market.
  • Works closely with reservations team to ensure the appropriate rates, promotions, and packages are available on all distribution channels.
  • Review competitive information reports for bench marking against competitive set, and develops strategy to increase the revenue share position.
  • Checks monthly profit and loss statement for variances in responsible areas.
  • Reviews daily revenue figures to ensure integrity of information for relevant areas and take appropriate actions to correct errors.
  • Conducts probation and formal appraisals in line with hotel guidelines.
  • Coaches, counsels, and disciplines colleagues, and provides constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Assigns responsibilities to colleagues and monitors their performance.
  • Identifies training needs, assists in developing training plans, and implementing training sessions.
  • Undertakes other assignments and projects as required.
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in the same field or similar discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the same position in a luxury hotel in the Middle East.
  • Advanced knowledge in office soft wares and other hotel related systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
