The CID associate operates the CID System assuring that all guest details are properly maintained and updated in the CID System in terms of Check-in Check-out Room moves, The CID associate will also operates the telephone switchboard station in order to answer telephone calls and process guest requests for wake up calls, screening calls, and other requests related to placing or receiving telephone calls.
Advice guest of any messages (e.g. voicemail, e-mail, faxes) received for them and send to room, if required. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. Log all guest requests or issues into computer, contact appropriate individual or department (e.
g. Bellman, housekeeping, engineering) and follow up with guest to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction.
Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest. Assist guests with accessing the internet.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Ensure TRYP brand standards, policies and procedures are adhered to all times
Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features / services, hours of operations, all hotel restaurant food concepts, menu price range, dress code and ambiance, all hotel room types, numbers / names, layout appointments, amenities and locations, all hotel room rates, special packages and promotions, daily house count and expected arrivals / departures scheduled daily group activities, names and locations of meeting / banquet rooms, room availability status for any given day
Maintain cleanliness throughout the areas
Organize and implement all special needs, personal preferences and amenity distribution in accordance to the department’s standards and procedures
Responds to emergency situations calmly, effectively, according to hotel guidelines.
Understand and know all SOPs for fire evacuation, your role and what is required in Emergency situation
Successful completion of the training / certification process
Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect
Follow, comply and ensure that all guests are checked-in and out Room moves from the DTCM e-service portal and CID systems
Ensure all in house guests’ information are captured daily in CID system accurately.
Check the Dubai Police incoming e mails in the CID system periodically and update rest of the team for any necessary information.
Make sure all checked in guest have copies of valid Identity details.
Ensure correct information such as passport and other related details has been input in the system accurately.
Check all passport copies have been scanned and sent to Police within 1 hour of check in.
Update all check out information within 1 hour of opera system update.
Run a full audit on the CID on regular basis at least once a week.
Maintain proper filing system to keep all rooming lists, actual arrival and departure list related to the CID daily update process.
Establish contact with CID officers in the area and maintain a rapport with other CID operators in nearby competitors.
Assist front office team to complete the Tourism Dirham entry to TD online system and conducting regular audit to assure the data is matching PMS.
Assist at the front desk whenever required and guided by your FO supervisors / managers
To maintain accurate record for all check in and out on daily basis.
To distribute messages, mail, etc.
Maintains high standard of personal hygiene at all times.
Should work flexible shifts, hours according to business demands.
