Job Summary : A reputable company in Dubai seeks to hire a Procurement Specialist with experience
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
Control purchasing budgets
Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability
Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers
Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
Drive vehicle for pick up / drop off the staff (transportation service)
Maintain high standard of service to both internal and external guests.
Ensure punctuality and safe transport
Observe the road and traffic laws and regulations of the Socialist republic of Dubai
Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience :
The applicant for Procurement Specialist must possess relevant qualifications for this role
Working experience must be two to three years in Purchasing or preferred to have a Buyer skills in outside market
Two to three years UAE working experience in Restaurant / Hotel is an advantage.
