Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE Manager Business Marketing Campaigns DEPARTMENT Campaign Management Business Marketing SECTOR MarComms Marketing and Communications JOB OBJECTIVE To support and assist management of the endtoend creation execution and performance measurement of integrated marketing initiatives and campaign programmes including all channels owned earned and paid seamlessly and in alignment with DTCM objectives to drive forward the city s global business positioning to aid a HQ attraction and inward FDI to the city b drive MICE visitation and event attraction c increase Dubai s attractiveness as the leading city to work and live ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reporting to Senior Manager Business Marketing Responsible for Integrated researchled projects marketing initiatives and campaign project planning execution and performance measurement as per department and overall DTCM strategic objectives Internal Communication External Communication Market Insights Marketing Planning Media Services Management Digital Ecosystem Management Social Media International Operations PR Comms Finance Procurement Legal Other Business units within DTCM and subordinate entities as required Media Marketing Creative Content Social agencies Global media houses and partners Existing and potential vendors Dubai Government Entities and Free Zones Private sector businesses International businesses and business relevant entities Other external stakeholders as required KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES Organizational Role TO BE FILLED BY HR Managerial Role TO BE FILLED BY HR Functional and Technical Role Reporting to the Senior Manager and Director Business Marketing Campaigns DCTCM the Manager will have the responsibility to Marketing Planning Support the definition Marketing Campaign scopes and components together with the senior reporting lines in alignment with internal marketing departments and city s business stakeholders across the privatepublic sectors Aid the development of marketing plans including the right media mix and target audiences both for the B2B and B2BC Business2Business Consumer sets for the designated crossfunctional campaigns and other marketing initiatives with a specific skillset in developing highly targeted and optimized media plans and strategies against target audience definition CRM and Direct Marketing programmes and bestinclass content and media partnership management and delivery Guide optimum investment level ways of engagement and media frequency for the campaigns marketing initiatives Coordinate with required partners for content cocreation or amplification and or for specific campaign marketing activations internationally aligned with the target objectives for the region s including the city s stakeholders and leading coordination of all citywide activities and international programmes to help drive a unified global proposition and rollout calendar Coordinate with all parties on commercial targets and tactical campaigns including conceptualization success metrics economic considerations and budget optimization allocation to deliver desired objectives of the campaigns programmes Implementation Alongside the Director and Senior Manager drive the endtoend development and execution of marketing campaigns activities content partnerships and delivery social media strategy content posting influencer engagement programmes Direct Marketing and CRM initiatives and digital platforms development Candidates would have strong experience in ATL and BTL programmes Help in the development of campaign briefs for lead and support agencies and manage all endtoend elements and KPI measuring Coordinate with DTCM Procurement team to detail procurement timetables for programmes Evaluate and recommend the most suitable campaign marketing concepts and components to meet the set objectives Performance Management Manage project timelines budget campaign quality and performance against the strategic objectives Evaluate and report the performance of implemented initiatives against the set objectives and KPIs Local measure Incorporate innovative emerging marketing methods to wow DCTCM s target audience and deliver effective campaign ideation storytelling experiential projects activations Vendor Management Manage relationship with the media agencies and other third party vendors Manage the performance of the selected media agencies as per the agreed level of service and allocated budget and recommend corrective actions in case of underperformance Support the review feedback cycles and status reports for the agencies and oversee consolidation of regular status reports Best Practices Be uptodate with the best practices in the field of campaigns B2B B2BC marketing crossfunction marketing like PR Social Media and recommend improvements as appropriate Ensure development and continuous improvement of processes and tools to support campaign management activities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES Marketing Planning and Implementation Consistency of marketing with the strategic objectives Timely implementation of campaigns Marketing Performance Meeting of the engagement and volume targets for the audiences ROI of marketing Adherence to stated budget B2B B2BusinessConsumer specialty Proven experience in communicating to business and business consumer audiences business travelers JOB SPECIFICATIONS Knowledge Marketing and Communication Strategies Marketing Planning Market Segmentation Campaign Planning and Deployment PR Social Media and content development strategy experience Proven ability to manage and lead agencies Local Regulatory Environment Agency Ecosystem and Capabilities KPI Development and Measurement ATL BTL marketing including specific marketing disciplines to drive business communication agendas Skills and Abilities Project Management Reporting Qualifications Bachelor degree in marketing or any related field required Master s degree or related professional certification preferred Preferred Experience At least 67 years of relevant work experience preferably in corporate environment publicprivate business organisations business marketing agencies or business tourism industry Working Conditions Frequent offsite meetings and visits Frequent travel within UAE and Overseas
