You do not shy away from difficult challenges as it relates to cybersecurity, implementations, and integrations. You are the technical authority and will interact directly with our customers to help them secure their digital environments.
The customers are counting on you to perform this work and train their staff. And while experience on the company’s platform is desired, even more important is having a solid foundation in networking and security technologies.
In fact, extensive experience with a competitor’s technology can play to your advantage. Many of the opportunities involve a client migrating to our platform for the first time, so understanding the nuances of that technology will enable you to be a better Palo Alto Networks consultant.

Design and Architect comprehensive Cloud Native Security Platform (CNSP) that delivers full lifecycle security and full stack protection for multi- and hybrid-cloud environments
Lead the design and deployment of securing container-based applications / micro-services and solutions, API Security & microsegmentation
Architect Cutting Edge security designs across Public Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Hosting Services / Telco environments
Migrate customers from legacy technologies to Palo Alto Networks platforms in Cloud and virtualized environments
Act as advisor and configure custom security solutions around PaloAlto Networks CNSP and Public Cloud Product Line
Design and build Cloud Native Security Architecture using the advanced Palo Alto Networks features and functionality
Work with our Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and diagnose support cases
Maintain the Company's solution and provide mentorship on Technology best practices
Ensure client needs are met and deliverables produced on time according to specified project deliverables and scope
Travel (50-60%) to customer site deploying our solutions as outlined by the unique Statement of Work
Security minded candidate, enjoy thinking like an attacker with a proven track of security experience, prior experience with Firewalls or Security products beneficial
Expertise in one or more container management platforms such as Openshift, VMWare Tanzu, Public Cloud Kubernetes offerings (GKE, EKS, AKS etc.) and / or Docker Swarm
Advanced Hands-on knowledge in AWS , Azure and / or Google Cloud (Solution Architect level)
In-Depth Linux OS experience (Red Hat Certified a big plus)
Scripting knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure as Code components is mandatory (Python, Helm Chart, YAML etc..)
Strong background in DevSecOps with CI / CD tools like Jenkins and Gitlab, and the ability to build pipelines
Automation tools like Terraform, Ansible etc.
Prior Experience working with protocols around Networking, NAT, IPSEC VPNs and knowledge of how these interact with applications and users
Possess one or more of the following industry certifications : Red Hat Certified (RHCA / E), CKS (Certified Kubernetes), PCNSE, AWS and / or Azure Solution Architect Certifications, VMware VCDX
Act as a Solution Consultant and lead multiple projects in parallel and work calmly under pressure
An excellent writer, with strong verbal social skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate to senior leaders (CISO Level), technical peers, and non-technical partners
Ability to work with the customers security & network teams to build confidence across the business units impacted by the change with the addition Palo Alto Networks
