Job Role : SPECIALIST, ORGANIZATIONDEVELOPMENT
JOB PURPOSE :
To assistand support the supervision of consultancy services related toorganizational improvements and transformation, organizationaldesign, staff analysis, and optimization in order to align systems,processes and structures to achieve the vision, mission andstrategic objectives.
Consults with theSenior OD Specialist and Line Department Manager on matters oforganizational change and culture alignment.
Provides organizational process consultation to assistmanagers to identify, plan and implement changes initiatives thatpositively affect performance output and customersatisfaction.
Plans, researches, analyze andrecommend systematic change and organizational performanceinitiatives.
Makes presentations to all levelsof management regarding the initiation and implementation of changeinitiatives.
Benchmarks against other similarorganizations, reviews organizational structure and makerecommendations for changes in order to address theorganization’s strategy.
Developsupdates and maintains manuals and computer systems fororganizational structure / chart statement of functions.
Carries out planned or ad hoc staffing level studies andanalysis to assess the requirements of each entity. Develops andimplements quantitative Analysis Methodology.
Prepares and finalizes proposal reports for managementapproval to include necessary documents such as analysis reports,charts, statement of functions, cost impacts etc.
Coordinates with Human Resources, Finance and End usersany organizational and job related changes after approval andimplementation in the system.
Performsstructural health check-up after a period of 18 24months of implementing changes, using the OD Tools as per CompanyPolicy.
Bachelor’sDegree in Business Administration, Human Resource Development orany Behavioural Sciences or equivalent. Postgraduate degree anadvantage.
MinimumExperience & Knowledge & Skills
8 years of progressively more responsibleexperience in HR or related field, with 3-5 years’experience in organizational development consulting
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Power point)
Fluency in English, both verbaland written
Knowledge of Arabic would be anadvantage
With consulting, presentation,research, and analytical skills
Has a goodknowledge of the business
A self-starter, agood communicator, works well in teams, and effective as a changeagent
