About the Role : An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Front Office Manager to join Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are :

  • Assists the Front Office Manager in all aspects of their duties
  • Monitor Front Office personnel to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition
  • Monitor Guest Relations personnel, repeat guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition
  • To handle and resolve any guest complaints received at the Front Desk
  • Control the availability of rooms, rooms types, accuracy of room count and rate categories
  • Maximise occupancy, revenue and average rate while maintaining high service standards
  • Compile statistics for Front Office and provide reports relating to that area
  • Continually check the accuracy of room count
  • Approve upgrades and special amenities in absence of Front Office Manager.
  • About you :

    The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :

  • University Degree in a Hospitality related field
  • Outstanding concern for quality, hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Great financial management experience (P&L, forecasting, budget)
  • Strong knowledge of property management systems
  • A minimum of 2 Years experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager in an international Hotel Chain
  • Preferably Arabic Speaker
