Key Duties andResponsibilities : The appointed candidatewill be expected to :
Develop and teach undergraduate andpostgraduate courses in Accounting (with emphasis on Auditing, withsignificant leaning towards the emerging component elements of 4IRand the digital economy such as artificial intelligence,blockchain, data analytics / big data science, etc.);
Engage in innovative approaches to learning and teaching;
Publish high quality research in leading Accountingjournals;
Participate in the supervision ofundergraduate and postgraduate research projects and / ordissertations;
Participate in committee at thedepartmental, college and / or university levels as assigned;
Actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAEUniversity; and
Perform administrative duties asassigned by the Department Chair and the College Dean. Earned PhDdegree in Accounting from an internationally recognized universitywith emphasis on Auditing;
Strong commitment toexcellence in teaching, curriculum development, and outcomeassessment;
Experience in teaching auditing at both theundergraduate and postgraduate levels;
Demonstratedability to publish in leading Accounting journals;
Mastering computer skills especially auditing and data analyticsrelated software;
Ability to communicate effectively inEnglish; and
Very good interpersonal skills.
A PhDdegree in Accounting (preferably with focus on Auditing) ,preferably with additional qualification in one of the componentareas of 4IR and the digital economy (such as artificialintelligence, blockchain, data analytics / data science,etc.).
