You will be responsible for representing our client at corporate level by selling and promoting products and services to existing and new customers to achieve company goals monthly budgeted sales targets gross margin DSO and increase market share You will ensure that all business transactions are in accordance with company strategy and procedures regulations product request pricing credit approval customer information ordering process delivery and credit control i e as specified in ISO 9001 You will also introduce promote and sell paints to customers by regular visits to build and maintain good relationships and obtain market information ensure timely delivery and good customer service by co-

ordinating with all other departments i e Logistics Customer Service Laboratory Technical Service to meet customer needs ensure customer payment is received by monitoring and supporting debt collection within agreed terms to achieve budgeted days outstanding You will be responsible for the quality of application of our paints by inspecting and controlling the project in order to get the best performance of our paints as promised for the specified period of time project management by working closely with customers and contractors on resolving problems at site so that the work is not hindered and can be completed on time and liaising with departments on matters relating to the supply of paint and specification modifications in order to work as a team and provide good customer service Other responsibilities include Plan and perform daily customer visits and sales activities in line with strategy Manage service and maintain good relationship with existing customers and attend to queries and disputes Identify and target new and potential customers by actively seeking sales opportunities to increase our market share Secure projects support and develop customers by frequent visits presentations and follow-

up Present regular seminars and training to contractors consultants and facility owners Ensure that Jotun products and systems are on the relevant vendor lists Secure sales and establish business and background information of customers for credit approval to lower the risk of non-

payment Provide customer service by attending to complaints follow-up and resolve claims to ensure customer satisfaction Keep abreast of market situation by collecting information on projects and customers in order to stay competitive Monitor ageing of debtors accounts regularly and assist in securing payment Compile monthly sales reports sales forecasts and collection reports Control sales expenses in accordance to an expense budget Attain Budget segment and personal budgets Control Selling prices and Gross Profits You must be a degree educated Western candidate with a minimum of 5 years sales experience in the protective coatings or paints industry NACE FROSIO certification highly desired Preference for experience with clients in the offshore industry GCC drivers license absolutely essential Company Profile : Client of BAC executive recruitment
