Your Role We are looking for an experienced radar power electronics design engineer to join our radar product development team here in Abu Dhabi.
In this role, you will be required to design, develop and test power solutions as part of our products. Your tasks will include selection of components for power conversion, optimizing power transmissions, designing for good EMC, power and cooling analyses to meet challenging requirements and much more.
You will act as specialist in the development regarding power solutions for different products. You will contribute to the concept, design and development decisions for our products in aspects of cost, quality, effectiveness, reliability and maintainability.
You will take the technical lead responsibility within our radar projects for power electronics solutions.
Your skills and experience Proven experience regarding power electronics design, development and test for radar products using different frequencies, but equally important is that you have a desire to be a part of building a new entity and operation in the UAE.

Minimum 5 years experience in radar product power electronics design, development and testing (radar or electronic warfare equipment) Minimum 7 years of experience in product power electronics Degree holder, minimum a BSc Experience of power conversion AC / DC, DC / AC and DC / DC Experience of prototype testing and perhaps environmental testing Knowledge about LVD and EMC standards Hands on experience with EMI / EMC Circuit Simulation and Component Evaluation Knowledge and experience in design of schematics and PCB layout.
Proficient with tools such as scopes, network analyzers, etc. You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written word.
Open attitude and Result oriented Team player who enjoys working independently as well Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills Driver's license Experience from design and development for different radars and frequencies is a benefit Experience in cable and harness design for harsh environments, will also be a merit
Successful applicants would be required to undergo and satisfy Saab Security Clearance formalities.
