Job Role : Contracts Manager
Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks :
a- People :
Responsible for thedevelopment and training of all contract force on his / herteam.
Knowledge sharing and reuse is embeddedin the workflow. Any knowledge gap is filled before a project orjob and lessons learned are shared during or at thecompletion.
Ensures that the Job description,performance reviews, objectives, etc) is implemented for everyoneunder his / her supervision.
Manages his / herpersonal development.
b- Processesand Others
Consolidate &Review customer T&C for compliance with Company ContractingProcedures & Policies
Compileexceptions / qualifications to T&C's in conjunctionwith Legal, Tax, Insurance, Operations and negotiate contract termswith Clients / Suppliers.
Ensures that contractswith favorable terms and conditions are in place for all ITSjobs.
Establish, maintain and promote robustcontract management at regional level
Support,communicate and implement standards and procedures for tendermanagement, Post Tender Negotiation & contract award,contract management and standard processes post award.
Responsible for the preparation of all area tenders andpre-qualification documentation.
Assist withthe managing & updating the data relating to quotations andthe tenders.
Responsible for maintainingsystematic filing of documents related to Tenders and Contracts inthe area.
General administration duties tosupport the contracts / tenders group.
Identify & Consolidate opportunities to improvecontract T&C for all product lines; report theseopportunities to management and other product linerepresentatives.
Reviews; raise exceptions andnegotiates proposed Client Contracts for services and / or productsin tenders or direct Contract negotiations and for wellsitesubcontracts proposed by subcontractors.
Manages Contracts claims or disputes with the support ofthe Legal Department whenever necessary.
Interacts with all other support functions anddepartments ensuring the Contracts Function involvement in allmatters related to Client Contracts and / or wellsitesubcontracts.
Collaborates with the LegalDepartment, as appropriate to ensure contractual risks are clearlyidentified and properly addressed in contractualprovisions.
Drafts, proposes, obtains approvaland implements tender procedures, Contractual procedures, practicesand guidelines.
Negotiates and closesContractual disputes with our Clients, being responsible fornegotiation strategies, resolution and follow up in coordinationwith the Legal Department and the Marketing Department.
Participates in assigned Contracts Function and MarketingDepartment Management strategic initiatives.
Conducts periodic contractual audits to measure the levelof contractual compliance in the region as well as identifies areasof improvement.

Responsible for the consolidatedtender files & updated information inSalesforce.
Education / Qualification : University degree / DiplomaEquivalent Experience :
Minimum 6years' experience in negotiating and managing contracts inthe Oil & Gas industry preferable with an DrillingContractor or Service Company
Customerrelation experience, good negotiator, proven team-buildingskills.
Administrative / OtherSkills :
English speaking and writingis a must. Any additional language is appreciated.
Excellent analytical and problem solvingcapabilities.
Strong interpersonal andleadership skills.
Ability to work as part ofa team.
Ability to build rapport with alllevels in the organization.
Ability to workunder pressure and meet deadlines.
Highlymotivated and a strong work ethic.
