Job Summary Provides administrative and sales support to the Global Sales Leadership team The candidate will be able to develop a versatile business acumen which entails organizational skills expertise in sales relations ability to anticipate needs and will have comprehensive brand knowledge to act as a true extension of the Global Sales Team Ultimately establish a partnership with each member of the Sales Team and be a strong contributor to the achievement of Global Sales Skills and Knowledge Strong communication skills verbal listening writing Strong organization skills Ability to use standard software applications Word Excel and PowerPoint Good analytical and market research skills Ability to develop and maintain relationships e g associates customers Must have excellent English comprehension spoken and written business skills Possess strong work ethic and desire to succeed Ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities Sales and Support Acts as a central point of contact in the sales department Performs other related tasks as assigned by management Complies with Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures Coordinates project management sales efforts Fact finding and data collection for research work assigned by GSO leadership team Prepare customer facing presentations Maintains collates and distributes all relevant department paperwork reports Follows up on information with GSO GSA associates as necessary Administration Preparing pitch presentations for proposals and all sales related matters catering to senior leadership in Marriott and clients to Marriott Attends Global Sales meetings and prepares minutes of the meeting proceedings and may be asked to do so at some Regional senior leadership meetings Candidate Development Broad objective is to provide students with an opportunity to acquire professional and practical experience at Marriott International Build Business Organizational Acumen Develop hotel industry-
