Job Role : Senior Asset Manager
JOB PURPOSE :
Provide technical advice on adoption of newdrilling / well operations technologies and practices to enhance welldesign and operations in compliance with HSE standards.
Partner with Assets to define operational requirements,design, development and implement guidelines, programs, policies,practices and procedures for drilling operational activities inaccordance with overall Corporate strategies, leadership direction,Technical Functions'
mandates to improve current, enhancewell productivity, reduce well duration, cost and improve well lifeto achieve operational excellence.
Provide technical advice and guidance for Asset teams onwell design, well operations, new drilling technologies and qualitymanagement techniques to improve asset performance and achievebusiness objectives.
Evaluate new strategicwell technologies, facilitate conducting trials and provide supportduring the approval process assessing results to achieve objectivesin alignment with divisional mandates and Assetstrategies.
Define the technical requirementsand design of rig equipment for optimum rig fleet efficiency; leadstudies, identify and recommend solutions for optimizingperformance to support achieving Asset objectives.
Provide timely technical advice and support for allassets in the event of drilling crisis situations to achieve quickresolutions.
Lead audits and failureinvestigations and recommend remedial measures in order to ensureall identified gaps and failures are remedied in a timelymanner.
Participate in Drill Well on Paper(DWOP) and After Action Reviews workshops in collaboration withthe
Well Delivery Team.
Provide technical advice based on disciplined knowledgeand expertise in drilling engineering and well operations, andperform critical analysis and assess the validity of findings andrecommendations in discipline reports.
Contribute to the identification, sourcing, and selectionof service providers for well operations solutions to validate allservices requirements and participate in technical bid evaluationsand qualification of new vendors accordance with defined standardsand procedure.
Maintain a clear view at alltimes of technical and financial (cost) performance of assignedactivities
Reports regularly on the progressof assigned activities, in accordance with routine and ad-hocreporting requirements
BachelorDegree in Engineering with 15 years of experience in oil / gasfield
