KEYACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Ensures smooth and efficient operation of the departmentup to Rove Standards at any time.
  • DirectsFront Office operations such as checking in, checking out andproviding guest assistance whilst ensuring compliance with allfront office policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction ofguests’ expectations.
  • Participatesin the development, implementation and review of the policies,procedures, practices and standards.
  • Selects,trains, develops, schedules and manages the performance of directsubordinates to ensure the efficient running of front officeoperations.
  • Participates to the evaluation of staff performanceonce a year. Motivates staff to bring about excellentperformance

  • Maximizes hotel revenue bycontrolling room inventory, group blocking, packages, reinforcingthe late charge policy to maximize REVPAR.
  • Maintains high visibility during peak period in order toensure smooth running of operations, is proactive in maintainingexcellent relations with guests and colleagues, takes correctiveaction and handles customer complaints to ensure theirsatisfaction.
  • Greets VIP guests upon theirarrival and escorts them to their room. Establishes good rapportand offers assistance for the duration of their stay.
  • Coordinates Front Office duties with various departmentssuch as Executive Office, Housekeeping, Sales and Marketing,Engineering and Security to ensure that all guests are givenfriendly and caring service from their arrival until theirdeparture according to Emaar Standards in a safe and secureenvironment.
  • Identifies training needs, planstraining activities and oversees their implementation for all frontoffice sections. Follows up to ensure compliance and effectivenessof training activities.
  • Assists in thepreparation of the annual budget and manning guide and manageswithin budgetary guidelines.
  • Keeps abreast ofall emergency procedures, hotel promotions, product knowledge, VIParrivals, upcoming events and brief direct subordinates accordinglyso that all front office staff are able to answer guest requestsand questions.
  • Accomplishes a set ofadministrative duties such as leading and attending meetings,writing reports and memos and other specific duties related to thejob function
