SUMMARY
Acts as a point of contactresponsible for ensuring the successful standup and execution of all transitionactivities. Determines, in conjunction with the Senior Program Manager, overallsupport requirements, personnel, and safety.
Directs and coordinates programactivities designed to ensure effective and economical support. Develops and managesthe IMS.
The Project Manager will coordinate efforts providing focus onreducing costs, meeting commitments, improving customer service, and enhancingthe operational efficiency of the program.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to the SeniorProgram Manager
Responsible for IMS managementand performance of the contract IAW the PWS
Serves as the secondary customerpoint for contact for the program
Ensures CDRL Management,Program Management Reviews, and associated staff functions, such as MIS / ITmanagement, are completed.
Responsible formaintaining program staffing, training and safety requirements IAW the PWS andinternal policies and procedures in coordination with the Senior ProgramManager
Manages task priorities,short-notice suspense, operational constraints, and other potential impacts tomaintain schedule requirements.
Oversees continuousimprovement and standardization plans necessary to achieve program quality,delivery and cost targets at all program operating locations
Manages programsubcontractors to ensure compliant completion of subcontract obligations
Anticipates problems andworks to proactively mitigate them
Ensures tasks arecompleted within estimated time frames and budget constraints
Monitors each task andkeeps leadership abreast of all problems and accomplishments
Anticipate problemsrelated to operational areas and environmental and human factors, and thendetermine contingency requirements and solutions
Responsible for complyingwith all safety and health regulations : DoD security protocols, OSHA and allapplicable local safety standards, reporting & record keeping
Travel is required

Required
Bachelor’s Degree fromfour-year College or university; or fifteen (15)+ years related experience.
Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills
Proficient in MS Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Expert in MS Project
Desired
Prior experience withUnited States Air Force logistics management
Prior experience workingin the Middle East, directly with Local National Militaries
Experience as a Scheduleror Project Manager
Black Belt or Green BeltCertified is preferred.
