The key duties & responsibilities of this positionincludes, 1. Assist the Restaurant Manager in training,supervising, counseling and disciplining outlet staff 2.
Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all andsteps of service are met through all customer interactions.
3.Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening andclosing functions are being completed each shift 4. Communicateeffectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide cleardirection to the staff 5.
Observe performance and encourageimprovement where necessary 6. Ensure staffing levels for alloutlets are accurate based outlet business levels.
7. Organize andconduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinentinformation to the staff 8. Communicate with guests and employeesusing a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understandrequests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurateinformation 9.
Ensure basic standard operating procedures for alloutlets are in place and are in compliance 10. Ensuring that allsteps of services as outlines in training materials are beingfollowed on a daily basis.
11. Resolve problems to the satisfactionof involved parties. 12. Maintain rapport with all departments andattend relevant meetings.
13. Move throughout the facility andkitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure foodquality and service standards are met.
