The Role

The Enabler - You will drive the development and commercial growth across our new and exciting series of digital events that will bring together game changing communities through compelling content.

You will work closely with marketing and programme curators to understand a range of different content topics. You will think innovatively in your approach to sell world-class and engaging content and drive audience engagement.

Your future KPIs will be aligned to the achievement of sales revenue targets through recruiting leading companies and curating an experience that meets their commercial goals.

You will have the commercial ingenuity to grow and develop the product suite that will help build a powerful community and engaged audience.

You will be the commercial drive behind a world-class brand

You will be responsible for driving revenue based on targets achieved through innovate digital sponsorship deals

You will manage sales channels effectively, within budget and under time constraints

You will grow and expand sales revenue / profit through selling integrated content solutions / services

You will work closely with the Programme Curator and Marketing Manager to research new market sectors & prospects to create revenue opportunities

You will effectively manage your pipeline of leads and related forecasting, managing your sales campaign within Salesforce

You will identify and foster strong relationships with companies across a wide range of sectors, industries and geographies.

You will work to create intriguing and exciting proposals that will offer companies a new and unique opportunity to reach their target audience

You will work proactively as a team member, sharing ideas and contribute to the overall growth of the division

You will regularly report web and platform performance metrics and results to clients

    Significant experience in sponsorship or digital sales with a demonstrated successful sales record of high value sales activity in events or publishing

  • Working closely with the marketing team to ensure that they accurately represent your clients and content
  • Ability to conduct extensive research on companies seeking to influence and access key market communities
  • You will be familiar and experienced at meeting call and proposal metrics
  • Experience of working independently on projects
  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience of conference or digital sponsorship sales in a reputable UK or US based conference production business, or publication business
  • Excellent time management, communication and planning skills
  • Multi-lingual language skills are an advantage

  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
