Operates including shutting-down / starting-up the processing plant assigned to dehydrate and inject the gas to reservoir to enhance the oil production, prepares the plant for routine / planned maintenance and carries out first line maintenance .

The plant includes : Slug catcher, GSU, GDU, GIC, Chemical injection system, Flare System, utilities. Plant includes associated equipment such as : Slug catcher, coalescer filters, absorbers, regenerators, scrubbers, Gas turbine driven centrifugal gas injection compressors, circulation and booster pumps, chemical dosing pumps, risers, , pig launchers and receivers etc.

The job holder works on shift basis of 12 hours on / 12 hours off). KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES .

Daily contacts with work associates and operation personnel up to Supervisor level to discuss the smooth running of the plant. .

Plan targets and Injection plant operating activities. .

Daily contact with work associates and maintenance personnel to co-ordinate preparation for maintenance. .

Works according to established procedures, specialised technical standards and safety instructions, using own initiative, judgement in adjusting plant conditions.

Keeping Supervisor and site senior operator informed of conditions. .

Frequent contact with operator assistants to provide work directions instructions and explain requirements. .

Completed work is spot-checked by supervisor..

Tours the Injection Compressor platform and related utility sections assigned in every two hours to monitor performance and ensure efficient operation according to prescribed conditions. Minimum Qualification .

Technical Diploma in relevant field or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field
