The Purchasing Department consists of 6 team members with different specialized experiences and highly professional expertise.
The Purchasing Department handles raw materials, packaging and indirect materials requisitions of Jotun U.A.E.; playing a core role on maintaining the operations work flow running smoothly.
We are now looking for highly systematic and result focused individual to be part of our Purchasing Department.This position will be on local contract and will report to the Purchasing Manager located in Dubai.
Handle purchasing Indirect Materials by coordinating with requesting employee and the relevant suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplied materials
Manage Jotun suppliers by sourcing potential ones, evaluating their quality of services and products supplied, negotiating effectively for the right prices, updating vendor list and monitoring shipment to ensure processes and procedures are according to Jotun purchase policies and local regulations
Assist the Purchasing Manager when liaising with new suppliers by ensuring competitive terms and conditions are applied to ensure successful agreements are achieved for the benefit of Jotun
Maintain structured record of purchase documents by handling shipment documents, coordinating with Custom Clearance Authority and managing contract agreements to ensure purchasing processes are in accordance with Jotun and UAE Government rules and regulations
Follow up purchase orders by coordinating with Finance Department on invoices to ensure completion of purchase process and on time payment to our suppliers to avoid any penalties.
College / University, Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience in Purchasing field is mandatory
Good proficiency in English language is required
Good knowledge of MS Office usage ( Outlook, Excel, Word) is required
Local work experience in UAE is preferred
Experience on purchasing raw materials within paint industry is an added advantage
