The Finance Analyst will play a key role in the MENA finance team supporting Saudi, Dubai and Qatar activities. The MENA based team is a small unit of experienced banking and investment professionals.

A positive professional attitude, teamwork and hands on proactive involvement will be critical for the success of individual, team and function.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to :

Processing Saudi vendor payments

Month End Close preparing Oracle adjustments, and variance commentary

Fortnightly bank reconciliations across finance owned bank accounts, prompt escalation of breaks

Monthly preparation of cash flow forecast across MENA entities

Work with the Bank Control Team in New York to maintain lists of authorised signatories, and executive officers

Prepare and execute inter-company settlement of service fees

Prepare monthly withholding tax returns; obtain supporting documentation for inter-company expenses, prompt escalation

Prepare VAT returns across Saudi and UAE entities

Preparing ledger extracts required for translation

Supporting external and internal audits

Prepare monthly balance sheet substantiation supporting documents

Preparation of Regulatory Returns for review

Administer the Corporate Card program - prepare associated balance sheet substantiation reconciliations

Work within the MENA finance team as a whole to support team members

Responsibilities and accountabilities remain flexible depending on business needs, will change as required

Core Skills :

A graduate degree in accounting or finance or business

Training with a major public accounting firm would be an advantage

3 - 4 years finance / management accounting experience gained within a regulated financial services institution, preferably within a global investment bank (and ideally product control experience)

Qualified accountants will be preferred for this role

Fluency in English is essential, Arabic very advantageous

Confident Excel skills

Must have a positive & proactive approach to work

Must be able to work well in a team supporting senior members of the team
