Job Description

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Support Clients (Central Banks, Payment Service Providers and Banks) with development & delivery of business solutions related to various payment services, offered via cards, electronic, cheque, digital etc.
  • Architect solutions based on latest and best practices
  • Consult Financial Services (FS) industry clients in creation, re-engineering of Operating models, payments strategy and value analysis.
  • Implementation of payment strategies, systems from Banking and central bank perspective including payment hubs, RTGS, and Instant payment products
  • Support clients during end-end lifecycle of payments transformation : Innovation & strategy formulation Technical Architecture formulation Solution Blueprint creation Architecture & Technology requirement elicitation & analysis Integration Framework definition and classification Vendor analysis & Selection Infrastructure Scaling & migration strategy formation Solution Implementation & delivery
  • Provide Technology consulting during implementation & delivery of project, supporting various stakeholders IT vendors, Infrastructure support teams, Technology solution providers, etc.
  • Provide Quality Assurance to FS clients during various phases of payments project implementation.
  • Manage implementation & delivery of project, supporting various stakeholders bank business, operations, finance, IT vendors, Payment solution providers, etc.
  • Provide Quality Assurance to FS clients during various phases of payments project implementation.
  • Develop trusted and durable relationships with clients and ecosystem partners.
  • Manage a healthy client portfolio and related financials.
  • Originating and develop business opportunities.
  • Developing, nurturing and coordinating a local practice.
  • Establishing acceptance of Solutions with client executives.
  • Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line.
  • Assessing and managing risk and issues throughout all aspects of the transformation programs.
  • Counselling junior team members.
  • Qualifications

    What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Banking Payments functional Architecture knowledge and business process design.
  • Central bank functional Architecture knowledge and process design with a key focus on clearing and settlement strategy design and implementation programs
  • Business & Functional Subject matter expertise in following industries Banking Payments Corporate Payments P2P & Instant Payments Transactional Banking Wholesale banking B2B payments
  • Deep understanding of technical operating rules, requirements & processes of following payment schemes & standards Cross Border Remittances (SWIFT, RIPPLE) KSA Payment Schemes (SARIE, SADAD, DDMS) UAE Payment Schemes (RTGS, WPS, etc) ISO 20022 Payment Standards
  • Digital Currencies / Blockchain
  • Good understanding of functional & operating rules of following payment schemes Instant P2P payments (for e.g. FPS) ACH (for e.
  • g. SEPA) RTGS Systems (for e.g. Target2)

  • Familiarity with payments hubs, RTGS, and Instant payment solutions
  • Good experience in relation to the new with regards to Blockchain, Cloud, APIs, Microservices etc

  • Experienced Manager from Management Consulting firm (8+ years’ experience).
  • Able to develop opportunities, pitch and deliver projects of : Digital Transformation, IT Strategy, Customer Experience Improvement, Data Management & Analytics, Digital Marketing & Sales, Spend / Pricing Optimization, Efficiency, and Operations Transformation.
  • Innovative and Digital-way enthusiast.
  • Experience in Large Corporate Accounts Proposal Preparation, Consultation, Sales, Delivery and Project Management is a plus.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Financial skills for managing projects successfully.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
