Job Description

  • Strategic and operational management of procurement activities for all goods and services
  • Drafting, negotiation and review of supplier contracts
  • Administration of the company’s office facilities
  • Manage procurement activities for all goods and services
  • Own end to end purchase requests & purchase order approval process.
  • Scan and compare different offers to aim for best value for money and risk reduction
  • Register new suppliers
  • Evaluate all suppliers and purchases, keep track record to improve quality of future purchases
  • Manage relationships with all procurement stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Manage storing and distribution of consumable items
  • Closure of historic Open PRs / POs, periodic assessment on the Procurement user access & Procurement Planning
  • Perform, coordinate and execute purchasing and sourcing activities
  • Receive, assess and respond to purchasing requests from different business units
  • Review documents, clarify needs with the requesting party, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures as well as with laws and regulations
  • Manage the supplier relationship, including the organisation of quotes and delivery schedules, the preparation of solicitation documents, and the negotiation of contracts
  • Prepare and submit complete, accurate and appropriate procurement and payment documents for approval and processing
  • Track and review LPOs and contracts (pending orders / standing orders)
  • Responsible for timely preparation and distribution of reports as requested by management
  • Contribute to performance reviews of vendors and suppliers by providing feedback and support to the Supplier Management Officer
  • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same role
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Good knowledge of general purchasing procedures and regulations
  • Knowledge of vendor landscape in the UAE
  • Knowledge of procurement software application is a must
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork
  • Requirements
