Manage the ITsupport contracts and service, to ensure quality, best value for money
Act as the firstpoint of escalation for IT issues with IT service providers, providingcommunication to all stakeholders and managing the supplier to ensure a timelysolution
Develop anongoing IT strategy to ensure continuity of systems with a strong link intobudget planning including hardware, software, infrastructure, networkconnectivity, PC set up, mobile technologies, website delivery, telephonesystem integration, printing
Support the Headof IT Procurement and Contract Management to review, revise, implement andnegotiate IT contracts, specifying and conducting commercial tenders and otherprocurement activities as needed
Reduce cost byoptimizing or renegotiating the contracts
Establishcontract management objectives, procedures, templates and workflow processesfor vendor contracts and deliverable schedules.
Maintain a contract managementdatabase that contains all executed contracts, as well as contracts that areunder development but are not yet active.
Moreover, track obligations,deliverables and contract change notes. Manage and control access to documentsas appropriate.
Manage contractreview meetings to ensure delivery against objectives and contract budgets.Develop regular reports on contract milestones, execution and risk, and informinternal customers, vendors and management of activities and progress throughregular written and verbal communication.
Work with ProductOwners / Managers in negotiating license reductions / increases as necessary due tousage
Understandrelevant market trends and vendors. Track, gather and analyze market andindustry data.
Minimum Experience And Knowledge
PERSON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS :
University degreein Computer Science / IT or equivalent
Eight years ofrelevant Information Technology experience in a medium to large systeminstallation
Proven vendorrelationship skills and experience
Demonstratedability to work well in a team environment
Ability to workunder pressure and determine priorities to meet deadlines
Pro-active andaggressive; self-starter, able to work using own initiative with minimalsupervision managing numerous concurrent tasks
