SECTION I POSITION SUMMARY Purpose of this role is to supervise MAFS operations at the forefront of the industry and also assist operations manager to develop a plan to initiate revenue growth and profitability Role also requires overseeing operations in the company to ensure efficiency in productivity quality service and cost-

effective management of resources SECTION II KEY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the approved strategic business plan for the MAFS business in the region Oversee operations across businesses ensure optimum efficiency and cost-

effective management of resources Assist operation manager to plan and implement strategies for generating revenue and business growth for the business and keep abreast of latest developments in technology materials and equipment within the industry to improve productivity Manage and guide key personnel on risk management and review periodically and ensure implementation of approved procedures Review project progress reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and initiate corrective action where needed Establish leads aimed at new projects in the region and support the Operations Manager in taking these forward through initial meetings and discussions Represent the business with Operations Manager at client meetings and in interactions with government and regulatory authorities Carry out review of business with Operations Manager and report to him with the responsibility of overall profit and loss for the business Ensure high standards of health and safety environment Ensure client expectations are met in terms of quality and service delivered and act as the catalyst at driving the business through the Operations Manager Oversee and review the overall execution management and profitable completion of projects ensure deliverable s are met and monies due received as per contractual terms Manage and supervise the daily activities of the technical team Ensures optimal usage of manpower and resources Oversee and carry out maintenance and repair of equipment Respond to all reactive maintenance within the specified service level agreements and operational policies Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the schedule frequency and task lists and provides reports on any works required thereafter Respond in a prompt and efficient manner to all reactive issues and help desk requests Coordinate with other teams and ensures satisfactory completion of work Carry out routine inspections for the jobs completed by Technicians and Service Partners SECTION III KNOWLEDGE SKILLS COMPETENCIES Educational Qualification Mechanical Electrical Diploma Technical certificate or diploma in Mechanical Civil or Electrical Engineering Additional Qualification Certificate in MEP Facilities Management Years of Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in the MEP business out of which at least 2 years of Middle East experience in a supervisory role Job specific skills Must have significant experience of having profitably supervised projects simultaneously in the UAE or GCC region s and must have developed knowledge of relevant laws and regulatory environment for the industry Proven history of driving operational plans with proven track record of recognizing achievements Excellent commercial and numerical acumen with exemplary communication presentation and interpersonal skills Key competencies Proactive Communication People s person Reliability Team player
