  • Ensure that payments (claims, commissions, refunds, etc) are properly verified, validated and authorised as per DOA.
  • Review of salvage sales and ensuring the realisation meets the company standards.
  • Follow up on collections and reconciliation of receivables. Credit control and maintenance of various customer related masters in the system.
  • Periodic receivable reviews with the branches and HO business units.

  • Finalisation of broker agreements in line with the Insurance Authority guidelines. Review and approval of legal contracts and NDAs.
  • Coordination with the Rating agencies and overseeing the annual rating process Periodic monitoring and reporting of the business agents’ performance.
  • Coordination with the branches, business units and brokers for their day-to-day operational issues to facilitate efficient functioning.
  • Review and approval of all purchase orders to ensure observance of Company guidelines and costs are restricted.
  • Support the branches and HO business units on VAT queries and operational matters.
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant laws and regulations

  • A qualified accountant.
  • Must have at least 8-10 years of audit / finance work experience, preferably in Insurance Industry, 4 years of which have been in a managerial capacity.
  • Professional Insurance qualifications would be an added advantage.
  • Sound Technical, IT and Finance Skills.
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
