To manage Aetna’s sales & service efforts for global products in an assigned region to achieve profitable growth and earnings targets.
To manage operational goals and maximize efficiencies.
Supports the development of strong relationships directly with customers and internal business partners. Supports the Senior Sales Associates in their daily tasks that lead to the achievement of customer satisfaction, profitable growth and earnings targets.
Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to
Participates in the sales & implementation process. Collaborates with team members & manages quotation and the case installation process for all new group SME business
Be able to administer and prioritize workloads effectively.
Develops a mutually rewarding working relationship with various client contacts by providing excellent customer service which results in customer / member satisfaction and sale of the group
Communicates effectively externally. Examples include conversations with brokers and clients related to new business sales and renewals.
Candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate expectations regarding the quotation and policy installation timelines.
Follows through on outstanding issues and pending quotations to the point of sale
Collaborates with team members on case installation to manage the integration of client’s and Aetna’s internal organizations,ensuring a smooth installation
Develop strong relationships with internal business partners (Underwriting, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Client Services Staff, Account Managers).
Supports new business activities and supports the new business team
Integrates technology to maximize customer andmember satisfaction and efficiencies.
Acts as point of escalation for broker and client contacts in the absence of the dedicated sales executive during the sales process.
Takes responsibility to always actively treat customers fairly (TCF) and support / drive any TCF initiative
Background / Experience Desired
A Minimum of 5 years experience of working in a Sales Support or similar role, with client / broker facing experience
Healthinsurance industry experience preferred
Education and Certification Requirements
College courses or equivalent experience.
