Job Role : HR Region DirectorII

EssentialFunctions :

  • Partnerwith the Region AIM GM and Global HR Leader in delivering HRservices to the region that enable the business strategy andsupport the long term growth agenda
  • Engagewith field & resources operations leaders &functional leaders in region for delivery of HR programs andservices and understanding and meeting their teams' needsin region
  • Partner with the Region GM to drivea high performance, collaborative culture across the leadershipteam
  • Identify and develop organizationstrategies for the region by identifying and researching HR issues;contributing information, trends, analysis, and recommendations toorganization strategic thinking and direction
  • Scenario plan with the Region AIM GM for longer term orgplanning
  • Manage organizational development andchange management in line with operating plans
  • Drive a culture of integrity through proactive complianceand adherence to the FieldCore The Spirit & The LetterIntegrity Program
  • Work closely with Legal andshare joint accountability for country compliance, employee& labor relations strategy, management of employee andlabor relations and engagement with employee representatives, WorksCouncils, and Trade Unions as applicable
  • Manage investigations and represent the company inrelevant legal matters relating to employee relations, dispute andgrievance management, etc
  • Lead direct andindirect team of 15 HR team members across the region. Holdfunctional accountability for the HR organization in the region tobe effective business partners
  • Drive positiveemployee relations culture through strong front line leadership inHR team
  • Partner closely with COE teams (i.e.,Compliance, Comp & Ben, Org Talent & Development)for regional program implementation
  • Leadtalent management & succession planning process &rigor across the region annually. Drive talent developmentprograms.
  • Partner with P&L HR team inthe region for transitions & talent movement on as neededbasis
  • Identify emerging workforce issuesrelated to compensation and benefit practices and developinnovative solutions
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree or 4 year degree from anaccredited college or university in Business Administration,Management, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Sciences, or arelated field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of combinedexperience Human Resources, including in the areas ofEmployee / Labor Relations, Talent Management, Recruiting / Staffingand Compensation / Benefits in a multi-national / internationalcompany
  • 3 or more years of global or regionleadership experience
  • Must be fluent inEnglish; additional languages applicable to AIMpreferred
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Prior acquisition integration experience
  • 15 years of combined experience Human Resources,including in the areas of Employee / Labor Relations, TalentManagement, Recruiting / Staffing and Compensation / Benefits in amulti-national / international company
  • Abilityto build relationships, trust, and interface effectively acrossmultiple organizations and businesses
  • Strongpresentation, interpersonal and influencing skills. Comfortablepresenting to executive level leaders
  • Strongleadership skills. Able to engage, listen to, and welcome employeesas part of cultural integration.
  • Change agent;able to confront and handle ambiguity, and steady underpressure.
  • Strong knowledge of GE PowerServices' or Granite Services' field operations andservices business model
  • Ability to work in amatrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achievea unified goal
  • Ability to interfaceeffectively with all levels of the organization as well asorganizations outside of FieldCore
  • Highenergy, self-starter
  • Strong oral and writtencommunication skills
