  • Reporting to the Cluster Directorof Finance, responsibilities and essential job functions includebut are not limited to the following Hotel Overview Th8 Dubai is apre-opening 5 hotel, located at the Palm Jumeirah Island, inspiredby the fashion, glamour and jet-set lifestyle of the cool whitesands and art deco scene of Miami Beach.
  • The hotel boasts of itsdirect beach access with uninterrupted views of the Palm,Dubai's iconic skyline and the Arabian Sea that willprovide an ultimate luxury experience at the PalmJumeirah.

  • The project has a total of 162 guestrooms and suites and 3 food beverage outlets with creative uniqueconcepts. In addition the hotel also features meeting facilitiescovering over 200 square meters that can host a range of eventsfrom small corporate meetings, product launches and team buildingactivities to outdoor receptions and bespoke social events beachand poolside.
  • Summary of Responsibilities Consistently offerprofessional, friendly and engaging service Lead and manage theday-to-day activity of the Accounting department and ensure allstandards are followed Compile and analyze financial information toprepare financial statements including monthly and annualreports

  • Ensure financial records aremaintained in compliance with accepted policies and proceduresEnsure all financial reporting deadlines are met Ensure accurateand timely monthly, quarterly and year end close Establish andmonitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting controlprocedures Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needsContinuously manage and support budget and forecast activities andassist Departmental Leaders as required Oversee the financial auditpreparation and coordinate the audit process Ensure accurate andappropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses Analyzeand advise on business operations including revenue and expendituretrends, financial commitments and future revenues Analyze financialinformation to recommend or develop efficient use of resources andprocedures provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutionsto business and financial problems Follow departmental policies andprocedures Follow all safety policies Other duties asassigned
  • QUALIFICATIONS Fluency in Englishverbal written essential. Previous leadership experience isrequired. Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance department.
  • Proven training skills. Computer literacy a must, with a strongknowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with HotelPMS,
