What will I be doing?
As Assistant FrontOffice Manager, you will assist in supervising the Front OfficeTeam to ensure that Team Members are prepared and well-informed todeliver Guests an exceptional experience from check-in throughcheck-out.
An Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible formanaging the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, mustperform the following tasks to the highest standards :
Assist the Front Office Manager tooversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain highstandards
Assist theFront Office Manager to evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction andmonitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement
Ensure regular and VIP Guests arerecognised and that the Front Office department operates with asales attitude and promotes the hotel brand’s loyaltyscheme
Maximise roomoccupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promotehotel services and facilities
Assist the Front Office Manager with setting departmentalobjectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, andprocedures
Monitor theappearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office TeamMembers with an emphasis on training and teamwork
Ensure Team Members have currentknowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, aswell as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trainedto learn and understand polices and practices
Maintain good communication and workingrelationships with all hotel departments
Monitor staffing levels to meet cover businessdemands
Conduct monthlycommunication meetings, in the absence of the Front Office Manager,and produce minutes
Assist the Front Office Manager with staff performanceissues in compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist the Front Office Managerwith recruiting, managing, training and developing the Front Officeteam
Act in accordancewith policies and procedures when working with front of houseequipment and property management systems

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain theattitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow :
Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within thehotel / leisure / retail
Highlevel of IT proficiency
High level of commercial awareness and salescapabilities
Excellentleadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Accountable and resilient
Commitment to delivering a highlevel of customer service
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a varietyof work situations
