Bid Management : Managing the preparation of all technical(e.g. defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)),financial (e.
g. total price sheet, cash flow analysis) and ifnecessary, project management (e.g. quantifies hours of engineeringand commissioning) aspects of the bid or estimate or quotation,indicating prices and trading conditions.
Collecting and collatingall information needed to prepare the proposal, including bothtechnical and cost elements. Participating in the kick off meetingorganized by the project team.
ProjectActivities : Analyzing internal project management and projectengineering activities to estimate cost. Quantifying hours ofengineering and commissioning defined by the operationsteam.
Information Coordination : Managing thefirst technical inspection to retrieve all the information neededto prepare the proposal.
Obtaining cost information from relevantinternal contacts, including carrying site visits to survey thesite. Ensuring that inputs for editing activities are provided ontime and according to established quality procedures.
Managingexternal services to support bid or estimation preparation such astranslations, governmental approvals, opc management,etc.
Risk Management : Identifying potentialrisks in the bids, quotations and estimates, and in any relatedcontract agreements across customers or channels.
Providinginformation or participates in the risk review process inaccordance with ABB policy.
Bachelor’s degree ormaster’s degree in electrical or electronics.
Minimum 8 Years of experience out of which last 4 yearsshould be full time bids and proposals or estimation of ElectricalSolutions for Green field or Brown Field projects.
Required good experience in bid, proposal and tenderingfor electrical systems like transformers, switchgearetc..
Required strong skills in excel, ERPskills and SAP.
Excellent communication skillsand problem solver.
